Var killed this beautiful game. Simple as that
Kill me now.Blatantly onside. No influence on our play. Margin of error? None.
Not surw what you are saying here, but the balance of refereeing decisions against us is paranoia or drunkenness? OkThe first two, I think. Everyone is talking about the decision today.
Sadly it seems to be a feeling shared by an increasing number of football fans. The game we all once knew and loved has gone to pot.The blatent decisions to hold us back are putting me off going to games now.
It costs a fortune in travel, and I feel I'm just wasting my money, don't think I've felt so low about football after the referees in the last few games, an absolute joke.
You claimed that when we get bad decisions against us “nothing is said”. That’s clearly not true. Not surw what you are saying here, but the balance of refereeing decisions against us is paranoia or drunkenness? Ok
Like I say, if you are going to cheat, make it look like a good mistake, so you can brush it under the carpet and not look like fools, NOBODY can come out and say it was not offside ? NOBODY can defend the match officials and referee for cheating, WHY was VAR not used, WHY did the linesman flag after the goal was scored,Honestly mate can you just stop please. He is offside and interfering with play. A completely wrong decision has been rendered corrupt because it has not even gone to VAR. We are in a difficult patch at the moment and have just been robbed in the derby.
So please stop making it worse. Of course you or anyone can have an opinion but it’s offside and we all know it is.
How could the defender have tackled rashford without committing a foul if rashford was between the defender and the ball?
If the answer is he couldn’t, then Rashford is shielding the ball from the defender and therefore offside.
I've listed 2 of the next 4 games on the ticket exchange, and won't be doing the FA Cup because it's on a Friday night, so that's definitely 3 of the next 4 home games I won't be at, and next Sunday is no more than 50/50 at this point. Not all down the refereeing, but it's certainly not encouraging me to go, nor is the way City are currently playing either.Sadly it seems to be a feeling shared by an increasing number of football fans. The game we all once knew and loved has gone to pot.
ON BT SPORT.Yet Lescott said it was a goal?
No im not.
Ive said he could play the ball....i answered this by askign how many players deliberately foul others to stop an attack......Ferna was a master at it
And what you have highlighted is a qoute from the laws....not my wordsIt but nothing stop Akanji from fouling him
How many times have you seen a player go to run onto a ball (and do so) only for his own player to tell him not to touch it and the second player go for it (who was onside)...it happens on a semi regular basis
Also an ex city player.. who Ive seen disagree/challenge others opinionsON BT SPORT.
You do realise it's a PAID GIG?
ON BT SPORT.
You do realise it's a PAID GIG?
I didn’t mean on here. I clearly meant in/on the media. If we’d scored that goal to get back in the game I am pretty sure it would be big media news, the fact that scored it means the media will ignore it, in my humble opinionYou claimed that when we get bad decisions against us “nothing is said”. That’s clearly not true.
you are not offside until you touch it unless you are intefeering with the players ability to play the ball -which he isntonce you make the run towards the ball, it's offside ? also, Rashford danced his feet around the ball like he was setting to hit it and leave it,
yes, you can be in an offside place and leave the ball alone and not be offside ? but you need to stand still and make no attempt towards the ball ? it's offside every day of the week and in every other game but united and at OT
Eh, the linesman flagged and told the ref why he flagged. Will be the ref that made the decision to allow the goal….It’s just a terrible decision with absolutely no vindication - the linesman bottled it under the pressure of the crowd and the United players screaming at him, if these officials cannot make the right decision because of the pressure put on them they should not be officiating. unfortunately the message that has been sent out to other teams and players is now that if you put the linesman and ref under intense pressure by screaming at them they will fold - as they did in today’s match, it has set a dangerous precedent
He’s interfering with Ederson’s ability to play the ball for startersyou are not offside until you touch it unless you are intefeering with the players ability to play the ball -which he isnt
loads of times players run towards the ball and then stop to let their own player take over who wasnt offside ....rashofrd ran next to/with the ball but never once played it/touched it
I agree with everything you are saying...the rules dont
Thats how it should beVery simple to me…
If the defence move forward to play a forward offside, and that forward caught offside is clearly ‘THE TARGET’ of the pass, then he MUST be penalised as offside. As this has affected actions of the defenders.
not to move towards the ball he isnt.....which is what the rule saysHe’s interfering with Ederson’s ability to play the ball for starters
