Refereeing decisions...

We didn't deserve a penalty. If no City player actually asked what it was for and he confirmed it was for Fellani then they should have been over to the linesman demanding that he tell the referee where Fellani was stood. That tells me he either gave it for Osman or our players have given up.

Does anyone honestly actually think that referees are biased against City?
Over the season the good and bad decisions even each other out.
The refs are professionals who are assessed after each match, It's not in their interest to favour one team over another.
Sure they make mistakes but to presume there is an agenda is just being daft.
Agree but the handball yesterday could have been called by every fkr on this planet except Everton united and that total tosspot probert, 1 each down to nine men 5+ mind to go decisions change games, ok agree they didn't call the tight one with the offside but the handball, my god what a gutless tw-t probert was?

If you want to be even handed and look at all his wrong decisions, it would have been 2-1 (had we scored the penalty; no guarantee of that). And that's not including a ''dubious'' challenge by Nastasic on Fellaini which some refs would have penalised with a penalty. Looking at Foy's performance so far today, he certainly would have given the penalty.

My point is the others were borderline in my blue eyes but the penalty with 5 to go was either corrupt or gutless, ill leave you with this thought if it had been out neighbours do you think he would have pointed to the spot, last week we had a full week of national mourning from the media, this week WE didn't deserve it. Decisions change games!

Fair point. But, in my opinion, the ref didn't lose us the game. And believeme, re. your ''blue eyed'' view of the game, I can be just as blinkered at times. I just try to see incidents/talking points from both sides. Guess it's something to do with me turning into a BOF!

some howlers in this one.

I was on the 3rd row of the lower bullens yesterday right on the line of the 18 yard box.

I thought it was outside. In hindsight with stalled pictures it is easy. At normal pace it was difficult. The fact that none of our players appealed for it showed they weren't arsed or weren't sure themselves.

Over the years Jim I've seen lots and lots of ridiculous decisions against city from the ball hitting the old type stanchion at the back of the net in the 68 title defence at Liverpool first game of the season whilst winning one nil, yes we lost, to the famous alf grey incident in the league cup semi to the Alan Wilkie gift to united in the fa cup at Trafford Incidently wilkies first game since he sent off cantona at palace, to the David oleary punch the ball out of the net at arsenal, I could go on I have a long memory when it it it comes to discrepancies from officials I have without doubt come to the conclusion that at least a couple of these were corrupt, so if it makes me cynical and an agenda theorist then yes I am in that bracket.

Is there a screen in that corner of the ground?

Yes to the left.
