Speak directly to the people you remove their ability to write their slant and venomous headlines.
mate im going to delete them as they are harsh on the eyes and try to clean them up ok.
What was his reaction? Not followed up on what he said post match.
Nope not at all. The pundits are at it as well though. A few weeks back Ibrahimovic kicked out at an oppositions players head while they were on the floor and the incident wasn't even mentioned. Had that have been Aguero it would have been a back page and and centre piece double spread in the sports pages of the papers plus unlimited re runs on sky sports news. It's developing into at least an offside goal per game, and it seems their players are immune from any kind of sanction for which the ref rips off his pocket to get out the card for other teams.
Can anyone honestly see a Rag getting a red at The Swamp for the Ferny or Wissssst Hiiiiiim player tackles!
Ibrahimovic would be in single figures of goals scored if you removed the ones he's either fouled a player for or been offside during. It's ridiculous.
Pep is right to be raging, there's clear corruption and an obvious agenda and it's getting more blatant by the week.
They are getting some decisions that's for sure but what is the agenda? For them ? Against us? For Chelsea? For Liverpool? For Arsenal? For Spurs?
I don't get that bit. For me they are getting the rub of the green but the other sides? I don't see much evidence of that. So it is just a pro rag, anti city agenda?
Surely at the moment if they wanted the rags to win the league then Liverpool and Chelsea would be getting the shit end of the stick.
United are no closer to Chelsea than they were 6 games ago and they have 6 games less to make up the gap. I'm not sure why anyone is getting excited by that but the media wanking over them and Liverpool is nothing new and unsurprising given that they and Liverpool will have the highest number of readers/watchers/listeners amongst fans.
Speaking during a promotional visit to Johannesburg, Scudamore told Bloomberg: ‘It’s a double-edged sword. When your most popular club isn’t doing as well, that costs you interest and audience in some places.
'There’s lots of fans around the world who wish Manchester United were winning it again,’ he added. ‘But you have to balance that off against putting on a competition.’
Don't know who that reporter was but he's probably had success in the past throwing a similarly baited hook to the likes of Jose and getting a bite. It didn't work and he saw his are, but the impartial beeb have decided to spin it as pep being 'tetchy'Basically that the refereeing in this country is different than other countries. Basically city's fault all the time despite always more possession - basically calling into question the legitimacy of the referees in this country. He was furious and rightly so. He was careful not to go too far but he made the point! Also he's had it with the media one/two word answers.
