Referees/Officials

Imbecile !

Tell me the shocking decisions, please. Fernadinhos challenge warranted a red but because we didn't agree at the time we were bound to get on the refs back for every little thing and blow stuff out of proportion.

Was it a flawless refereeing performance? No. Have I seen many worse? Yes plenty.

The overreaction is just another symptom of the believe that everyone is out to get us, something I don't buy...

he got the red card right.

Other than that he yet again allowed a team to be far more physical towards us whilst blowing the whistle for virtually anything we did and brandishing cards like confetti.

he lost total control of the game, he knew it, we all knew it.

One Burnley defender alone cold have had 4 yellow cards and thus been sent off but oh no, apparently Silva just fell over with one of his challenges.

Fucking cheat end of.

That made me smile. So in 2012 we would have finished with 109 points.
A record of 36 wins 1draw 1 defeat. What a season that would have been!!
No, because those 20 points would be inclusive of United being lower by 10-15 points to begin with (the amount by which they benefited from "helpful" refereeing decisions that season)

I think people are not saying that officials are out to get us. But I would like to know why it is that some of the officials who turn up at the Etihad have rewritten the Laws of the Game especially, and the next gig they have they revert to the Laws of the Game as published on the FArce website, and also why is it that MANUre are constant recipients of referees' largesse, leniency and blind spot! They're not out to get us, but some of the performances I've witnessed this season alone would lead a lot of people to think that summat was up!

Agreed apart from the fact that it definitely wasn't a red. This is old analysis but some things never change:

"The red cards decisions are maybe what can be predicted by now: bad. Not one correct decision in the games we reviewed from him.*

He was fucking terrible from start to finish. Like Taylor he's from a family of rags, and whilst his claim to 'support' Bolton is more credible than Taylor's laughable alleged affinity to Altrincham, he's still a City hating bastard of the first order. Like Taylor, I don't think I've ever seen a City game when he gave a 50/50 call our way. I believe he was the subject of an official complaint from City a few years ago that led to him being withdrawn from our match at Wolves at the 11th hour, allegedly for personal reasons, only to rematerialise as 4th official at Spurs 24 hours later.
I lost count of the number of times Burnley went through our players full tilt - Sagna and De Bruyne twice each, and Silva once, were all studded across the shins and ankles, with only 2 yellows shown and one not even given as a free kick. He also dragged play back to give us a pointless free kick in the 1st half when we were steaming away down the right flank (and then didn't book the Burnley player concerned), and he was frantically checking his ear piece in the hope of disallowing our first goal. As per Taylor, it's an ongoing disgrace that he is allowed to referee either City or United

Mad isn't it that we have multiple cameras covering every game for English or foreign broadcast and it would literally take 15 seconds to see whether feghouli should have been sent off

It is mad, but it will never happen anyway, precisely because the FA and TV companies are quite happy with the status quo of the rags benefitting from frequent blind eyes and 'errors'
