Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

Just not true - the UKIP Party - led by Farage and a Party a lot of whose members and councillors stood for Reform Ltd won control of Thanet Council in 2017 - did fuck all except bankrupt the council and as soon as 2018 there was a massive falling out all the UKIP councillors resigned from the Party in protest of the authoritarian way it was run and later that year Farage cut and run and scuttled off to form Brexit thats him and a lot of them in office and thats their track record. Chaos, inability to run a local council and everybody quits before the finger is pointed their way

As someone who lives in Thanet and works in Ramsgate it was no surprise UKIP got in.
They pray on the uneducated which Thanet has alot off. I can walk through the town and not hear English being spoken. High unemployment, high private rent, no chance of a council.house, the towns all smell of dope, lots of street drinkers and anti social behaviour, graffiti, litter.
Than you have the dfl's who love the place, they have lots of money, very arty, pushing up rent and house prices.
Lots of locals feel ignored so it was easy pickings for UKIP. These people hate the dfl's and hate the small boat people. These people are very racist, I have heard what someone of these councillors say and it's shocking, one was even the mayor !
Reform, UKIP pray on the weak and uneducated. Even our ex tory MP was ex UKIP

The green bin charge isn't a tax. It's a charge for disposing of garden waste that people without gardens shouldn't pay.
Are you saying that you shouldn't be paying for any service that your council provides, which you do not use, but do fund ?

In the name of fairness of course.....

Please explain what growth there is in building a solar farm, a useless piece of kit for the UK.
Well the solar farm capacity is 17gb on an average daily demand of 29gb. So whilst you may think it useless, it is capable of producing more than half our average daily demand. I was surprised the figure was so high. But of course they won't want the fields of Lincolnshire taken up with solar farms because the new mayor needs space for the tent city she wants to put migrants in. Oh no, let me think, tents will be fine but NI her BY!

Because that's how it reads.

another simple, stupid comment-what about the care sector? and we already have a points based system....almost as if some people have fallen for the simplistic social media fed solutions presented by the right wing grifters.

Yep stupid.

What the world does by and large is just stupid.

What we are doing now with immigration is stupid and it’s all fine and dandy, a line fed to us by left wing libs who are the least affected by it.

In Crook, Co Durham we voted in 3 Reform UK candidates. On the local news everyone who voted for them, and were interviewed, mentioned immigration. Now Co Durham has a population of 530,000 of which it's estimated 14,000 are immigrants. Now given our towns population this would work out about 200 living here. However, between everyone I have asked we can only come up with 1 family.
They are from Afghanistan and fled the taliban. Now the husband managed to get a job at Amazon within 1 week. Yet some of our local Reform UK supporters claim he has stolen a job from one of our own!!!!
As someone else said Reform Uk do target the uneducated and ignorant.
Ps. Not 1 person I spoke to clicked I am an immigrant myself, having had to flee Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe. However, I didn't come over on a boat and I'm the wrong colour.

Stop banging your head against the wall, mate. They're not worth indulging.

Farage is nailed on to win the general election. The traditional parties have.. fucked around and are now finding out.

More like everyone’s taking in the absolute bullshit that ‘we need something different’ and getting all giddy that the man who caused the most economic damage to this country will deliver in bringing ‘change’

An end to unskilled immigration and a points based, skills shortage visa sponsored by businesses and backed by job offers for those we need.
I see. Some lovely Torygraph-style wishful thinking there, but how does that stop people getting into a boat and crossing the channel?

So just to be clear you agree with Ed Millibands stance on Climate Change and the policies that see us paying higher costs and all our production capacity being shipped offshore and then we pay for the products to be shipped back here... pathetic.
Our manufacturing output is increasing and has gone up over the last 12 months under Labour.

Waiting lists….what waiting lists lol.

You can always rely on a story from one or two that backs up their given opinion on any given day ;-)

Love the oversupply of provision quip. Tomorrow he will be posting the NHS is on its arse again haha

I can't walkout the front door without a dentist bothering me about a check up, my neighbour confirmed it happens to him too seconds before I opened this thread.

I think you appear to be making the same mistake as those people who voted for remain who were incredulous at the outcome of the referendum, namely operating in an echo chamber to some extent.

There is a strong, solid rump of people who support Reform. I would guess about 15% of the electorate. And then there’s another cohort who would contemplate voting for them if things (in their eyes) continue to get worse and/or they feel the need to protest at the status quo. I’d put that figure about 10%. Which equals 25% on a good day. I think that is their ceiling, give or take, because I’d say the rest of the electorate would never contemplate voting for Reform under any circumstances and under FPTP this will present a huge obstacle to what you stridently predict to be a certain outcome.

The support for Reform is real and sustainable, but there is a limit to the number of people who will lend their support however ‘bad’ things get. I’d say about a third of ‘natural’ Tories are part of the grouping who would never vote Reform; left wing, liberal conservatives, who if the Conservative Party ceased to exist tomorrow would gravitate towards the LibDems because of their liberal sensibilities and the fact that they aren’t negatively affected by immigration overall.

I don’t think the sums add up for an outright majority for Reform for the foreseeable.

The only danger I see is if Labour turn out to be really bad especially for the old 'working class' and the Tories need reform for a coalition. It's unlikely reform could get enough MPs but I wouldn't have put any money on Brexit or Trump ever happening.

i think a Tory/Reform coalition is unlikely but far more feasible than a Reform outright majority, especially if there’s a pre-election pact with reciprocal stand downs of candidates in certain seats. As you say Labour would have to really fuck up, but I don’t see them (or anyone else) solving the fundamental issues in our society so it could happen.

All the old rules around electoral certainty have pretty much gone out of the window now I’d say.
