Hope I am way off the mark but he strikes me as someone who doesn’t have the inner drive or desire to prove himself , today was the perfect chance for him , granted he scored but apart from that I can’t really recall anything else he contributed

I got a lot of stick on twitter for suggesting that Sancho isn't far from eclipsing Mahrez and that he will do relatively soon, and I still stand by that. I think his game intelligence is phenomenal given he's only 18. Yet it's Mahrez's biggest weakness, and he's 9 years older. I honestly reckon Sancho would have more goals and assists if he was given the same game time Mahrez had this season. He just uses the ball so much better. I know, I know...move on, its done, get over it etc. Just a point that slightly bugs me, because it could have been so different.

You’re right, but there were not a lot we could have done to keep Sancho. We offered him a great contract, but he wanted to move

Sancho probably wouldn't have got as much game time here as he has at Dortmund even if Mahrez hadn't signed

It doesn't matter how much a player costs, sometimes one will take longer to adjust than another,
Bernardo was frustrating at times last season and then this player looks on another level altogether, i will reserve judgement until this time next season.
Exactly the right thing to do too.

Maybe but he loses the ball a lot more! Sancho done brilliant at dormund but we got let it drop this constant he could done this or been this good for us! He has gone never to return and prrobably end up at madrid if he keeps it up. If and buts is the past move on.

With all due respect, people don't have to stop appreciating Sancho. I watched his u18s debut when he was 15 years old and I'd never been so excited by a player, so I guess i'm a little more frustrated than most re that situation.

Still totally underwhelmed with his performances to date. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should have spent the money on a striker or a DM....

Agree love watching him at dormund and England its more about the constant we shouldnt of let him go or he could of been playing games instead of certain players now in our team.
