You really shouldn't keep throwing the price tag back at players,it's not their fault the market is a nonsense
Also he has been here 4 mths, give him time to adjust

Can't wait until next year when one of our signings is struggling to bed in and we're all saying,
'Look at Mahrez, it took him a bit but he's great now!'

It's a cycle!

This season I only remember one brilliant moment from Mahrez, his assist to Sergio in the Derby.

It’s weird as I remember when he was at Leicester how dangerous he looked every time I watched him play, and against us he used to rip our left backs to pieces.

Now I watch him, and it’s painful how predictable he is, and he seems incapable of going past a player.

Strange.

Goes without saying that any new signing needs time to bed in. The problem with Mahrez is pretty straightforward though, he’s not going to change his style of play regardless of how long he’s given.
That style sadly doesn’t seem to fit with what we’re about in wide areas. We’re all about work rate up and down , defending from the front and then when going forward being quick in transition. So far Mahrez has been lacking in both areas for me.
Hopefully he’ll improve. There’s no doubting he’s a very very good footballer.

Strange. That's the word. I see u all saying that he's very predictable and far from being a 60m player. That's right ATM but what Mahrez shows since the start of the season is miles away from his real level. I'm not saying Mahrez is in a bad form, he's just absolutely not playing the way he used to.

At Leicester he was easily one of the best dribblers itw. Now the lad is scared of trying a simple dribble, he playing like a holding midfielder but in the wing. I don't know if it's due to Pep instructions, but if it's the case he should just move away from City 'cause he's clearly not the man for this RW role.

Its not strange watch the youtube videos of him at Leicester he doesn't have 2/3 players marking him.

Even when he’s 1 on 1 he doesn’t skin anyone.

His job is to cross it we have 3/4 other players to skin players his stats says he is contributing to the team and the team is all that its about, personally I’d rather play him behind the striker and thats where he picked it up and did a one two then scored, problem is we have a few players who play there.
