Robinho.

Re: Send Robby Back to Brazil....

Let me get this right, you want to send the player who least deserves a holiday on holiday?

There's nothing wrong with him other than him being a lazy shithouse who couldn't give a toss about Manchester City. Sending him to chill on a beach in Brazil isn't going to change any of that.

Re: Send Robby Back to Brazil....

I have a feeling that if he doesn't buck his ideas up in the last four months of the season he'll be shipped out anyway.

If he wants to stay and prove his worth then he'd better get his finger out.

Underwhelming. Clearly could be a huge asset but chooses not to be and is more often a liability now.

Enough already. Get rid.

i think the point is though mate that he will be shipped out before the end of jan if he doesn't buck up, prob on loan initially.

I've noticed he get's criticism when we lose:
Spurs - Only his second start since injury.
Everton - where he makes a sub appearance after slight calf problem midweek.

Whereas wins:
Chelsea - Started and we won.
Wolves - Sub appearance, assists and nearly scores himself.

Last time out against Blackburn, fans were swearing at Robinho the sub, as he ran towards the oppo pen area.. when he nearly scores.. they go very quiet, almost an awkward silence like they didn't want him to do well with the shot. It's pathetic support.

Last year when he was under a lot of pressure (i.e. the nightclub scandal and when people started criticising his form) he just popped off back home for a few days, let the media pressure blow over and then proved em wrong at the weekend (the hat-trick over stoke being a prime example).

I say we should send him home for a week, and tell him to start a fresh when he gets back.

He is a good player

This is exactly what is causing the problem. Treating him differently to the other players. Send him home for a week?!! Nice work if you can get it...and he obviously can!

He may have been signed as a statement of intent, giving us worldwide press coverage and a new image, but now he's a symbol of what's wrong with our team- overpaid and under-performing.

As much as I would like him to regain his form and start scoring goals for us again, he seems to be going from bad to worse.

The worst part of all is his work-rate. If he was working his socks off then you could have some sympathy for him, but the fact he looks disinterested is infuriating.

I agree and disagree with this statement.

Whilst I would love to see Robbie running around giving 100% I know this is never going to happen but I could live with this if his contribution was up to scratch in areas I expect him to shine. I expect him to be spraying passes around all over the place and going past players as if they are not there but he is showing none of this and it is for this reason that he is doing my head in!

He's not a grafter, thats for sure. But it's his contribution off the ball which is the most telling. He just trots about, and won't defend.

If he played so consistently bad that he was subbed after coming on as a sub I'm sure he would. If he reacted with a shrug of "I don't care" when his manager was screaming at him to mark a player (as happened v Everton), I'm sure he would.

It's way way beyond being negative for not getting behind one of our lads. I'm not saying boo him I'm just saying treat him like anyone else and it's time to stop kidding ourselves and making excuses for him when he is blatantly messing about.
