I live in Middleton. Parts of this argument on here are disproved by using Middleton as an example. The Asians seem to be getting the blame for ruining Rochdale or Oldham or wherever. Middleton has hardly any Asians yet it's turning into a shithole. What it does have is plenty of indigenous white scum.

Most of it comes under rochdale council but it has a manchester postcode and manchester phone prefix. All the big old houses on long st that were listed buildings are now homes for alcoholics and drug addicts. It only turns into rochdale really when you get past stakehill industrial estate.

Integration has worked in the more affluent areas of Rochdale (they do actually exist) but as usual the trouble stems from run down areas, such as Kirkholt (Smackholt) where people look to blame others for their miserable lives and come to the logical conclusion that it must be the ones whos looks/beliefs are different.

I'm fairly sure when the figures were released about Failinge the other year showing that it has the highest amount of benefits claimed in the country it was a white British majority that were claiming.

If you are so disgusted by the way that asylum seekers are allowed to live and work in this country then I have a good idea, pack your bags, head over to Poland for example, learn their local language(if your brain is developed enough) and start to work and live there, it will be a fucking eye opener for you if you think our minimum wage is bad.

I take it you are aware that over 95% of racially motivated assaults in Britain are committed by white people?
But then I suppose that doesn't fit with your selective and blinkered wordview,does it?
Or are you seriously suggesting that it's the Labour party's fault that a not insignificant proportion of white,working class British youth are violent racist thugs?
The overwhelming majority of young Asians either find full time employment or go on to higher education,graduate,and contribute to the economy of Great Britain.
Asians are statistically far less likely to be unemployed,or alcoholic,or be drug addicted,or have a criminal record,than indigenous white folks.
To put it simply,they pay their way.
But according to your warped logic,they are the problem,rather than a bunch of lazy,workshy homegrown racists.
In the main,racial integration has been a success in this country,despite what you and the usual suspects may think,and I am glad we live in a multicultural society,because I think we are the better for it.

Like lots of towns in the North, Rochdale no longer has much of a manufacturing industry which was once the backbone of the town.
The large Asian community has the cheek to open small business' or drive taxis all night or educate their children who then go on to be high earning professionals.
