Thomas Partey is that same kind of player, but even more robust - he was the player we should have signed from Atletico.

I think he's an excellent player, really top class.

But in our setup, a squad/ utility player who should be there to help us in different jobs, not someone you build around.

He's a very good alround footballer. I actually think he might be better than any of our cbs, at cb.

But he's not suited to a wide open midfield, with slow partners & slow defenders.

If he was playing next to Colin Bell he'd be fine just sweeping up around him. Playing next to Gundo ? You cannot be serious Pep.
