Widely accepted they had there money back in the first 18 months after the transfer, anything they manage to get, which will be around the 40/50m mark is considerable profit, the reason the kaka transfer isn't portrayed in the same way is that tranny has been a roaring success on the field, however they without doubt had the same success commercially with the bottler!!!

Yep, Kaka is almost as marketable as Ronaldo and I'm sure his shirt sales were not much behind Ronaldo's, specially in first months when it was not clear he'll be fail at pitch.

Absolute bollocks - tranny's transfer value will remain the same or be even higher than the £80m Madrid paid.
If RM even contemplated that £55m offer no doubt we would move in and offer more (if not to just irrate and sour the rags offer)

His comment confirms that City will get a big-name striker in summer. We are looking at established, mature players who could adjust to different leagues and work well in the Prem., not fancy, young and upcoming ones.
Playing devil's advocate here but if Tranny only had a choice between joining us and PSG who do you lads think he would pick? we would see how loyal to the rags he really is if hes prepared to go to a shitty league to preserve his rags legacy.
