Running thread

I am trying to walk equal to 365 half marathons with a calender year.

I am almost there , it works out I have about 28 half marathons to do.

There is about 27800 steps in 13.1 miles however I am rounding it up to 28000, which leaves me with a total of 10220000 in the year to do.

Somedays when I can I do more than half a marathon to make up for the days when I will be too busy with life things or the weather is shit.
Fantastic! I'm assuming you're retired or rich or both? Great effort either way.

off on the sick, i have glucoma so I'm order no to avoid getting down , I've gone out walking ..
13.1 miles a day was not my original target, as I have changed the goal posts as I've gone along and exceeded the previous ones which makes it a little more interesting.

I've been struggling with a pull, slight sprain as I missed a curb on the street and pulled something, still got 40 days until the end the year and now down to 26-27 half marathons.

That is amazing running mate.

Cheers mate. Was pretty pleased as I had been suffering with a few stomach issues leading up to it. Pretty deflated prior to the race, fearing the worst but managed a good run without any accidents. Still struggling with the pacing, went out like a rocket and finished with a crawl.

Stafford Isabel Trail Parkrun completed in 28:40 today which was another PB. Not bad for an overweight retired bloke, and proves that if I can do it, anybody can if they put their mind to it.
Very well done on this. Alexandra Park for me, in 27:18, which I'm happy with, given I've had a back twinge for about a month now, which is slightly getting better. I got a slight strain at the back of my knee joint today, but I ran through it. Need to get it checked out.
