Running thread

Half marathon today in 1:28:16 two weeks after completing the Marathon.

Like an idiot I drove straight home after the marathon, which was a 2 hour drive, consequently suffered with my IT band ever since.

Was ok today until the last 5/6 km so managed to plough on through. Last race next week for the year. Bit of downtime, focus on mobility and weights for a month or so and then build myself back up for next year. Been a great year of running this year, loved every minute of it.
Great effort mate

That is awesome running!

Roughly 21:15ish at parkrun today, shaved another minute off somehow.

Puts me about 1 minute 20 off of my parkrun PB, despite being about 8 kilos heavier after injury.

Really happy again, felt a lot more even paced, felt my conditioning was there just lacking the speed.

My run streak is in serious doubt today, just below my knee has bizarrely swelled up while I was asleep last night, don't know if something bit me or I banged it, haven't a clue.
Would be day 460 if I run today(5864km) hoping for a miracle, really don't want to lose the streak
Well done on your steak, and I hope you get to continue it. What's the minimum distance to count as a continuation?
