guess who's boss was her daddy back in leningrad?
The United States has donated almost double the amount of aid the European Union has promised as a whole, new data shows.
Between 24 January and 3 October, the US has committed to €52.3bn in aid.
This compares to €29.2bn from EU countries and institutions.
The UK has provided €6.65bn - making it the second highest contributing country.
No, but can you name one who had access to the means?
I'm not disagreeing with you but your argument is a little one sided
The US loves guns and all things military. They have a massive budget that gets rolled every year. The top brass will be loving this as they get to see the gear in action against the old enemy but without having to put boots on the ground.Sounds like NATO!
I think we all hope this would end tomorrow. I highly doubt this will be over in 2023. I am not necessarily a pessimistic person, but there are no guarantees left in terms of brokering a deal with the Russian Federation, and no sane NATO/EU leader that would even contemplate actually sitting with an increasingly insane dictator to re-carve whatever fractions of relationships are left between us, moreover with a RF that would be in a losing position.I believe and hope it will be over by next summer.
Ukraine has already won and Putin is just processing what he can now salvage.
We won't get involved beyond the point we and the US already are. Ukraine just wants the tools to finish the job, they have the manpower and the will.
It's one thing losing the invasion of Ukraine, it is a different story to contemplate losing an uninhabitable Russia back to the Stone Age, using nuclear weapons just to save face.
So many checks and balances, so many people who, at that stage, would have Putin gone in the blink of an eye.
Bakhmut and Avdiivka......Wagner gonna be sorry for having a go.
Watch this space.
Slava Ukraini.
I believe differently. We are no closer than we were a month ago or 3 months ago.
I meant the UK being drawn into conflict rather than NATO as a whole.Depends on how long Putin lasts and who replaces him. The fall of the Berlin Wall should teach us all that things can unravel with bewildering speed when events taken over.
