Apparantly Russians deployed downstream on the banks of the Dinipro have run to areas of higher ground but are now sitting in trees waiting for the rising water levels to drown them.
Lots of Russian kit swamped. Shelling Kherson as the waters rose they didn't realise the jeopardy they themselves were in.
Sadly the same will apply to many locals

Kyiv need to step up their attacks in Russian territory. Not sure how far they can launch missile attacks, but the partisans in Russia are doing a fine job.
The more it hits home to Russian citizens, the better.

This Dam being blown is likely to be catastrophic for the entire region. Not only will many lose their lives, thousands being displaced , electricity supplies disrupted, but water supplies will be cut not only for drinking water but irrigation for thousands of hectares of crops. Then you add in the environmental disaster. Its a nightmare scenario and will be for many years to come.
