Russian invasion of Ukraine

Bakhmut way:

Remember that Russian general Andrei Sychevoi who was sacked for warning what would happen South of Bakhmut, then reinstated when he was proved right to sort things out?
Well he's been sacked again - well presumably sacked, he was dragged of by the Russisn FSB on Friday and has not seen since.

Lose Tokmak or 10 thousand rashits: the price for preserving Melitopol will be too high for the occupiers.

In Moscow, a fierce struggle continues between opponents and supporters of the retreat in the south of Ukraine for the sake of preserving the army. The head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces allegedly advocates for a "step of goodwill”. This is reported by sources close to the Kremlin.

Forecasts of the head of the General Staff regarding the defense of Tokmak "remain gloomy."

Bad news - The Pro-Putin party came top in the Slovakian election.
Not good at all.

Only 22% of the vote, but there you go.
We’ve seen Russian meddling in many elections & referendums, it’s no Surprise they’re making inroads in countries like Slovakia, whose own population just want leadership & direction, unfortunately they’re now looking east instead of west, hopefully others don’t follow suit
