The charge against Suarez is a joke. Most offensive thing in Liverpool-Fulham game was conduct of Dempsey.

@R_o_M I had absolutely no problem with what Cantona did, by the way. The Palace fan had it coming.

@R_o_M I don't care if they swear. Thought the charge against Rooney was absurd

Re: Suarez

Whats the latest on his conduct and supposed comments towards Evra or doesn't he have a case to answer for?

In the AFL racial vilification hearings and sanctions would have been finalised with 48 hours of the incident?

i don't think any ban would effect availability against us - unless combined with racism punishment

At the rate its taking to make a judgement call on his conduct against Manure if he is found guilty he might start his suspension at the start of next season (lol).

Liverpool face being without talisman Bugs Bunny for most of January after he was hit with a second FA charge.

The club announced it would defend both charges vigorously after it emerged he could be fined heavily or even banned for up to three matches for making an obscene gesture at Fulham fans on Monday night.

Suarez has until next Monday to respond to the charge, but already, it is clear the Uruguay striker will request a second personal hearing in the face of two potentially devastating bans.

Liverpool are still waiting to hear when the FA will sit to consider the charge of racism against the same player, who stands accused of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

If found guilty on that charge, the penalty is a ban of up to six matches.

With a second charge also now levelled against him, Suarez faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Liverpool face Manchester City in a two-legged Carling Cup semi-final in January, and will be desperate to have such an influential player available for both games.

That is why the Reds will defend the charges vigorously, with both likely to be heard before Christmas.

A spokesman said: “The club will take the appropriate time to properly review the documentation sent to us before making any further comment.”

Suarez has always maintained he is innocent of the accusations levelled by Evra, and will plead mitigating circumstances for the gesture aimed at Fulham fans.

He was given serious stick by a section of the crowd, who accused him of diving, and believes he responded only after reaching breaking point.

There is a precedent - Manchester United's Wayne Rooney was banned for two matches after swearing directly into a TV camera during a win at West Ham last April.

Liverpool were also charged by the FA with failing to control their players during Monday night's match, which relates to the response of Jay Spearing's team-mates when the young midfielder was shown a red card.

I bet this doesn't happen, but certainly should, IMO he will get 2 matches for the hand gestures and the racial slur will be overlooked

Kenny is an idiot

I've always had a lot of respect for Dalglish but he's slowly losing it.

Maybe he thought that life would be easier and that he wouldn't have us, Newcastle and spuds keeping him from jumping back into that top four spot. Pressure a bit too much?

As for Suarez - have a look on Youtube at some of the things he's done in the past. Why hasn't someone knocked those teeth down his throat?

I'd love to have seen him bite Mike Doyle or Tommy Smith. Would have ended up looking like Nobby Stiles.

GET A LIFE!! U big sissy. U sound as hysterical as the Daily Mail. Are grown men really calling for a player to be banned because he stuck his middle finger up at the Fulham crowd? TBH I'm sick of sterile football and players and I honestly do not care what other players apart from Man City ones do.

Good for you.
Condoning his cheating, diving, conning, obscene gesture, derogatory remarks against fellow PL players?
He was coined the 'cannibal of Ajax". Imagine being suspended for altercation with teamate over a freekick. ICNMIU

Still condoning this twit? Remember this WC cheat at 2010 WC.
