Savic Loan To Wolves

He's 21 and has a handful of appearances to his name, most as a sub

And some fans want to write him off? What happened to supporting your young players, and giving a player a chance to prove himself.

Savic and Boyata are awful but they're on 21 so...

Is that a joke?
Other than the Arsenal red card, Boyata was excellent for us when he played and we haven't seen enough of Savic yet.

Some people want everything NOW NOW NOW, so players that are potentially good quality will be written off after a handful of bad performances. We saw similar reactions to Milner and Nasri because they didn't score hat tricks on their debuts.

Should loan him to Everton. Recognition for their heroic, battling performance at the swamp after being two goals down which helped ensure there were worthy champions for the season.

Everton wouldn't play him because they have a good CB pairing of Jagielka and Heitinga. But it would be good if we could find him a PL club who would play him, Wigan's defence is quite poor. Championship would be a big culture shock for him though and maybe what he needs, long balls galore and it's in the air he seems quite weak.

Silva started poorly too, and Savic didn't get the benefit of playing in a settled team. He came in when a major player was injured or suspended

Yeah, Mancini played Savic when he had to rather than when he would have preferred and his confidence suffered as a consequence. Hopefully a yeah out on loan will do him good.

I thought the idea was to win stuff, not be a nursery for average players.

What happened to signing players who deserve to be given a chance or bringing through kids who are actually good ? Why is a club like City buggering about with a lad like this ? Surely that is someone else's job, then we sign him if & when he actually looks like he's got talent. He's not just shit for us, he's diabolical for Montenegro too. Our youngsters should be exceptional talents not below average.

Anyone who claims to be impressed with Savic so far is either a liar, clueless or very very charitable. There are 21 year olds in the 2nd div who would be no less shit than Savic if they played for City tomorrow. Ben Mee is nowhere near good enough but he's just as good as Savic & he deserved a chance more than Savic does.

It's up to him, to earn the right to wear our shirt, not for us to lose goals & trophies whilst wiping his arse for him.

Let him go out & learn to play football somewhere else, then if he's good enough, maybe one day, he can come back.

Wolves would be ideal as I'm sure they will be aiming to get back in the Premier League on the first attempt.

He will hopefully capture a regular first team starting place and develop his confidence.

All for this!
