Hes a lot better than we give him credit for, he comfortable on the ball, pacey and good passing ability/ vision. But it was his first season and made some big mistakes off which a loan spell will benefit. Remember that German guy who we fucked off after 1 season think hes playing in the final on Sunday. Remember when Micah and Lescott where they didnt have our support...so imo a loan spell is good but would have preferred a PL club a championship club means mcfc have less faith in his ability

The German guy we fucked off, is a shithouse who is no good whatsoever in our league & he's just had a fucking nightmare defensively v Italy & was hauled off to boos from his own fans as he blatantly shit out of a tackle so he's not playing in the final at all. He is miles better than Savic though. Micah & Lescott at their worst were better than Savic in his best ever game.

If he comes back from a loan spell having learned to play football then great, we can use him. It doesn't change the fact that he's utterly useless now.

Our striker, Mario Balotelli scored 2 goals that knocked out Germany btw if you missed it.

Wow you sound so angry, so even the german guy is shit? but of course you are correct he aint playing in the final..so fair enough

Worse than shit. Boateng actually has talent but is gutless. That's worse than just being shit.

Potential as what ? Compared to who ?

Describe why Savic is a better prospect than Fulham's reserve defenders or Everton's.

And yes Mario is 21. Spot the difference anyone ?

Obviously you weren't on the Bayern game. At right back the lad had a stormer. As a centre half......now thats a different cookie. The lad has some potential nothing more nothing less. A year on loan will do him a power of good.

Yeah, people do forget, or never knew he came to us as a RB first and foremost but with the ability to play CB. It isn't his natural position.

I can't understand some of the vitriol on this thread. The comparisons to other players of his age are meaningless.
We loaned Joe Hart to the brum for a year, and that didn't turn out too bad.

well I'm going against the grain and reckon he will turn out to be a top player.Ye he made a few mistakes(so did kompany and lescott)but he can pass and tackle and he's only 21

Both Boateng & Savic came to us as centre backs who had been pushed out to right back because they aren't good enough to play centre back.

Savic is almost average at right back. Boateng is really talented, until it goes wrong, then he's a complete shithouse. Savic is not as good as Boateng at anything. If Savic comes back from a loan spell and is a player, good, then he will deserve to wear the shirt, which right now he doesn't and should never have been given the opportunity without earning it.

How does he earn it if he doesn't get the chance to play?

Anyway i think he will become a good player and i saw glimpses last season. A loan to a team which is a strong favourite for promotion is good and the championship is arguably more physical and harder than the Prem so it will be good for experience in that regard.

Joe hart is actually a good player though

If he does go on loan and Kolo is leaving we must be in for another central defender.
