I think you should take some of your own advice.

Are you seriously suggesting that if they wanted to really screw us, they would have used the contact as an excuse to give fouls for the first or third goals? We’ve all seen softer, incorrect decisions.

The thing is, in the CL, the referee should be the one making the final decision, he is advised to have another look, and there is (supposed to be) a screen on the touchline for him to go look at and make the decision, without that what he decided should stand, ie a corner.

Walton even mentioned that.

There was no screen for the referee so we just get on with it as normal.

So that would surely be a corner then.

Otamendi handball is a difficult one, it’s going so quick and he’s trying to get his arm out the way. You can see by his body movement. If the VAR screen is broken, then the original decision should stand. UEFA is a multi billion pound organisation, and they can’t get the review technology working? That’s just too convenient. It should be played on the big screen, like they do with rugby.
