Do you think that the handball was deliberate?
They dont know that is the rule, that's the problem.

Virgin/ITVWhich tv channel are the terrestrial highlights on, please?
The handball is clear for me. The shots going in and Otamendi diverts the ball. The second penalty is a needless pull by Fernandinho.
We're fortunate that Schalke aren't very good.
Of course it's a great result, but it wasn't a great performance.
There's no point getting wound up on here lad, Some people just love something to give out about (even when we overcome officials and being 2-1 down with 10 men).He was trying to get his arm out of the way of the ball so it simply CANNOT be deliberate. I see needless pulls by players in every match I watch and probably 1 out of 20 are awarded penalties. Even the commentators said, before those decisions were awarded we were giving them a footballing lesson. To win that game with 10 men, is bloody good. Get behind them.
So.that is how handball will now be judged then, starting today ?
So we’re lucky that we’re better than them? Not sure what luck had to do with us winning tonight. The handball is clear for me. The shots going in and Otamendi diverts the ball. The second penalty is a needless pull by Fernandinho.

Well done MutleyMODS: Here’s hoping all the flappers who had us dead to rights losers in the Match day thread get a ban for the next Schalke Match Day thread! Some shocking comments from so-called fans on that thread!
I called 2-4 at 2-1 down, and almost...
When did so many “fans” turn into internet rags?
Handball has to be deliberate, I dont see how moving an arm out of the way is in any way deliberate, and this bollocks about a clenched fist is the proof of just how confused referees are about handball. The handball is clear for me. The shots going in and Otamendi diverts the ball. The second penalty is a needless pull by Fernandinho.

So why was the decision overturned if it wasnt clear cutThey dont know that is the rule, that's the problem.

Wobble...I think you should take some of your own advice.
Are you seriously suggesting that if they wanted to really screw us, they would have used the contact as an excuse to give fouls for the first or third goals? We’ve all seen softer, incorrect decisions.
Ps it’s funny that one of the people suggesting there isn’t a clear conspiracy from UEFA to screw us is the one you consider talking shit. Fucking wibble.
The thing is, in the CL, the referee should be the one making the final decision, he is advised to have another look, and there is (supposed to be) a screen on the touchline for him to go look at and make the decision, without that what he decided should stand, ie a corner.
Why can`t we just accept that both were penalties ... as Pep says !!!!
