Quite a climb is Edinburgh zoo.Great zoo but a slog.
They used to have a tractor and carriage to take you to the top so you could work your way down.
Sadly no longer an option.
If you don't get the weather at Wemyss Bay try North Berwick if still in the Edinburgh side.

I used to go in the Cail Bruich near the Botanical Gardens, but the prices massively shot up due to getting a Michelin star. It more than doubled in price so looking for somewhere else next time.
