Season Card Reservations/Relocations Direct Debit update 11/6

They have got to the end of the Waiting list today and anyone on it can buy. There is still wide availability.General Sale will
be next

I got a lot of 'stick' for suggesting that would happen. Better to trust my estimates than those selling them.

cannot see how match day prices will drop, 750 quid season tickets in the 3rd tier = nearly 40 quid a game, the club won't be selling tickets cheaper than the cost of a season ticket.

Good point. I think a tiered pricing system depending on stand/tier eg £30 SS3 (replacing away fans), £40 Levels 1 and 3 in rest), £50 East and CB 2 outside Premium). The rags, Chelski, Arse and Scousers might be exempt from this.

Cityzens card holders could get to one game a season for £20.

If the guesstimates are right? If!

So we're looking at a 5000-7000 season ticket take up from the waiting list of 10,000. Based on 38,000 season ticket holders last season, with an annual 2000 not renewing. Leaving 43,000 season ticket holders. That still leaves 12,000 seats to fill. 3000 away seats, and 9000 remaining seats.

Of course my figures could be all over the place. :-? And it's all guess work from everyone taking part. :-)

I had my youngest on the waiting list, and asked for the seat next to mine which was empty, they wouldn't sell it to me, stating they didn't think it would make that far down the waiting list, upshot been offered a chance to buy, but no availability next to me, so that's one sale they have lost, and a refund requested.

Any idea how many we need open to cover relocation for an FA cup game where we have to hand out more away tickets?

It could be in that ballpark but take up
From the Wiating List a bit higher and last year's season ticket numbers a bit lower. I know the Club said we had record season ticket holders (in recent years) exceeding the 36,500 previous record but I'm not sure if a figure was quoted?

Rightly or wrongly I thought the club had upped season tickets to 38,000 from 36,000 a few seasons back??

So did I. Accused of being 'negative'.

It's blindingly obvious given the gates we are getting and the season we have had that the club are going to have to work hard all summer to shift as many season tickets as possible.

I will state yet again...I expect some aggressive introductory pricing models to be offered to encourage new buyers. The best way the club could do it would be to extend that £299 thing where you don't choose your seat. That's one way they can minimise the flack from people who've paid more. But it makes business sense not to introduce this or announce it until you've squeezed as many 'full price' sales as you can from the potential new customers.

A lot more will sign up as soon as the signings start to roll in. I can see us getting another 3 or 4 thousand sold. Maybe take us upto 46 or 47k?

Plenty of availability means nothing - everybody on the waiting list could have bought a seasoncard and there'd still be plenty of availability. No one knows anything other than we've maybe got to the end of the waiting list.

Yep, everything has been conjecture
From the doom merchants who tell us it will be empty to the happy clappers who think they'll be hanging from the rafters with £10 seats it's all just guesswork until City make an announcement.
Which is also highly unlikely as they' rarely do these days

I can't believe we would sell anything like that. In fact if you subtract corporate seats (3-4k at a guess) and the 6k they can't sell because of away fans cup allocation then by my reckoning there won't be that many available.

another update ref the waiting list

my lad who is 9750 on the list, his window to buy a season ticket opened yesterday

no idea on any indication on how they have gone, if everyone on the list has bought one etc

my two younger lads who are in 600's on the list, i have not taken the option for a couple of reasons, mainly waiting for the north stand to open(hopefully)

On Twitter, Support Services have indicated sales are still being made from the Waiting List (encouraging people to use the seat view tool).
Albeit that everyone on the existing Waiting List will have been offered the chance to buy now.

It makes a mockery out of what people were told about touch and go, and having to wait until next year. Some bought Premium seats to make sure they got them.

This is before July drop outs. Fans should not take is as a personal insult if City don't sell out, however some place a lot of importance on it.

Hi all. After a bit of advice. I'm on the waiting list and eligible now for season ticket. I'm wanting somewhere that's going to be decent for atmosphere and just got of the phone to the club. Availability in the SS in blocks 115, 116, 117, 118 to row E. 119 to row Z. That's it for the SS. Then blocks 309 and 322 are available. What would people suggest for somewhere that will a bit more lively and noisy.

Thanks

If it was me I'd be 119 towards the back..it's in the SS corner so you'd still get the atmosphere (I've just moved from 121) plus you don't really want to be sitting anywhere in the front rows (Row E is very low down)
