Season Card Reservations/Relocations Direct Debit update 11/6

Just looking on the seat planner (i know someone who was on the waiting list) and there seems to be barely any seats sold from rows L downwards in the first tier! apart from the halfway line blocks obviously! Have these people moved elsewhere? Im sure they used to be season ticket holders.Block 110 looks half full. Southstand and Northstand look ok apart from the first 5 rows which are empty.

More ammunition for other club fans to take the p*** then to see a load of empty seats from the camera views even though we''ll probably get 50k for each game

I've moved to 316 after 8 years in 216! They've litreally put the boarder to the new corporate area about 5 seats away from my old seat. Fully expect the entire second tier to be corporate within 2/3 years.

Looking forward to the new view and hopefully some new world class talents ;-)

What would be your estimate of numbers left?

Best guessimate, i'd say there's about 2400 unsold seats in the first tier (not including the new rows as these are grayed out). I've based this on averaging out 5 blocks and assume its similar around the bottom tier.

107, 109 and 110 look pretty much empty for the first 10 rows (according to the planner). Again not including the new rows.

How many season tickets are they actually selling this year? Was it 36k last year? Anyone on the waiting list now is eligible to get a season ticket. Im ordering mine today in either 115/116 row E. Extremely excited.

not all the 2400 will be available s/c though a lot will be kept for matchday sales, as well as those at the back of East and CB 3rd tiers..

Correct, but the worry is that these were once season ticket holders and for the shite games like stoke or whatever they'll never all get sold. Similar to how the family stand looks.

Thanks. I hope you're right.

Course they have, they've all gone into the £299 seats the cunts. That's why I've had to pay £550 for mine!

I get moved down to East Stand Level1 for Champs League games and I have noticed we have an older fan base in there. As well as some Blues shifting to the £299 seats, some others might have hung up their season cards / passed on the batton!

Got my first ever Season ticket .
Delighted to be a full member .
Instead of paying individual game by game .

Had a feeling the club might have Fucked this up. I reckon they thought those of us on the 1st tiers would stay there and the 300 quid tickets would bring in newbies. Thing is tho the view from my seat on row k of 117 was crap, so when they offered seats for 300 quid that probably have a better view of the game... winner winner chicken dinner. Our seats just didn't make value for money - they increased again to about 620. I think it was only an extra 20 quid to go into the 2nd tier, which obviously would have been a much better view. My plan was to try and get in the 3rd tier on the cheap and if we couldn't then for the extra few quid the 2nd tier would be worth it. The 1st tier seats on the front rows are poorly priced and terrible value for money. We may well struggle to fill them

We're going to be missing 5 thousand people in some games, maybe more. Ticket prices in the lower tiers should of been reduced and tickets in the new tier should of been made more expensive. As long as I'm there, I don't really give a toss.

It's a good point. The pricing is ridiculously out of kilter. I once sat on row 3 of the first tier and I'm not kidding, I'd watch the game on telly instead of sitting there in future. It's going to be unbelievably bad in those new front rows. They should be the dirt cheap seats.

I've been trying to say for ages that I don't believe the demand for season tickets is anything like what most are anticipating. They are going to have to get creative on pricing and given that many have renewed on the new prices, the only option they have that I can see is to knock out thousands of those £299 tickets where the club tell allocate you a seat to first time buyers.

Here's where the Club's marketing team earn their corn. There's plenty of options:
- Enable every Cityzen member a £20 ticket once per season.
- Sell bundles of tickets (3 to 5 games). that include fixtures in and around the Derby and Chelski at home.
- Level 1 tickets £35 for all non key games.
- continue to grow the tourist interest / new fans travelling from further afield.
- continued opportunities for schools and sports clubs etc.
- reciprocal prices with other Clubs for away fans. Away ends will sell out with £35 tickets!

The volume of tickets being talked about can be sold - even if a good share of people paying per game (in recent years) are now season card holders.

Theres not a bad seat in the house didsbury!

Little bit of advice required, I didn't sign up for the waiting list, but now want to get a season ticket, what's my chances?

As per the recent pages Gaz, the Club has now worked through the 10,000 plus waiting list. You should be able to ring up the Club and get a season card. You can always check with Supporter Services.
