Season Tickets - 2023/24

The sad truth of the matter is they know people will continue to pay it. We know Soriano couldn’t really give two shits about the fans and their finances in the current climate.

I was introduced to him once. He paused, looked at me and walked off. He get’s us. ;-)

I probably wouldn’t vote Conservative if they were the only party and we had to vote for them; but I’ve been paying 1p a month for my energy bills over the Winter (only because they have to take money out to keep my account live) because the govt £66/month contribution kept my energy bills in the negative.

I’d topped up from it and was able to withdraw some money into my bank.
You do know the £66 came from the taxpayer's and putting them further in debt.

Timed it just right where everyone is on a high to snide £60 on top for everyone.

Just hours after their joke of a way they sold Madrid home tickets.

Typical City will never ever leave us!
Maybe an over cynical view but the way they sold the Madrid home tickets demonstrated the value of having a ST. Those debating over whether to renew may now fear they’ll miss out if another stunt like that is pulled

We’ll have another 9000 seats fill in 3 years time, and another 4 season ticket price increases to, with Pep leaving the season before the North stand expansion is opened. Pep isn’t going to extended has contract again.

We’ve already done it before.

City and Liverpool fans held up a banner across the divide between the fans moaning about ticket prices.

The media didn’t really notice. I couldn't give two fucks what they say about us anyway, I can’t remember reading anything not written by Martin Samuel for about a decade.

Fine - but I don’t have to agree with you. I think the tickets are great value for the superb entertainment we get. You obviously disagree with me and that’s your prerogative but I object to a fans’ banner that is only demonstrating the feelings of an unknown percentage of fans - who (as you say) don’t give two fucks.

For the record, I have loved the last 10 years - after visiting Macclesfield, Stockport; watching Gillingham & having shit managers like Stuart Pearce.

I think the tickets are worth every penny - just to see KDB & Haaland.

You don’t have to agree with me but you do have to let me (& many others) have a different viewpoint

The suits at the club are pathetic. They do nothing for the fans if there's no PR involved....all so undeniably detached from reality.

Pep could influence it if he cared. But he doesn't. If he ever mentions the crowd again he can swivel.

City matters should disband. And it should go public City have no meaningful engagement with fans.

I'm an idiot. I'll still pay it. I binned off the the league cup scheme 2 years ago to pay for the increase. I'll bin off the fa cup next year. That's what the club want though. Less passion. Day trippers with deeper wallets.

Anyway. I'm clearly in a bad mood. Khaldoon can give me a call and I'll say it to his face but he'll do a garbage PR piece behind a camera instead and the mindless will lap it up. Clueless. The lot of them.
How would pep have any clue? We’ve never protested it, nor has there ever been any press reflecting the current sentiment. You think he has any clue what the feeling of the fans is beyond the support in the ground? He won’t be involved in decisions on season tickets etc and even if he saw it how is he supposed to understand whether it is a significant increase to fans or not

Scandalous to increase AGAIN.
Year on year.
The club could've put another two fingers up to the rest of the Prem by freezing the prices. Looking after the fans - great PR.

Dread to think how much matchday tickets will be next season.

The priced out, disaffected, lapsed Blues will remain so, and the club couldn't give two fucks.
ive Been a match day mug for the last four seasons, well three if we count the COVID season. The prices have risen and risen, it’s basically £55 a pop after the £5 deduction for being a member which itself is £30ish. What I’ve also noticed is games that are Sold out but get moved, a flood of what I assume are season ticket holders putting their seats up for sale but the club then want top dollar, Spurs at home which I bought tickets for the previous July, was rearranged but didn’t sell out cos the cheapest match day ticket was £70. The only league game I don’t have a ticket for is Leeds, a few have now popped up again at £60 a go, well after not getting a Real Madrid ticket, fuck that, it’s on the box anyway.
