I wonder if they’ll leave it as late as they can … (I certainly hope not)Still no Norwich tickets I think it will be Monday if we are lucky

I’m guessing the reason for only sending them out at late notice is to deter people printing out then selling them on - as I understand, this season it’s partly about tightening up for track and trace reasons. The thing is, even 7 days before I could print it out and post it to a mate to go instead - but what I’m not sure of, is whether he would then face ID checks on arrival. If they are going to do those ID checks on 100% of people who walk up with paper tickets for the whole season, then that would be ruled out.
@tolmie's hairdoo so as you understand it, will I need to phone up to request the print at home option for the season mate? I’m guessing I won’t get an email automatically 7 days before unless I do that? (I’ve a membership rather than SC).
Ok cheers for that, thanks for confirming. That certainly explains the massive waits at the moment to get through on the phone. Well let us know how you get on/how many days beforehand you get the email. My first match isn’t due till next month, but keen to see how it all shakes out.Correct mate. They explained it was a tech department request that needs to be made by them.
I deferred season tickets and bought Cityzen match day memberships to buy tickets on an individual basis.
The only current option on my account was mobile wallet and even that was greyed out.
It's less than seven days now and not had the email yet.
I really don't want to be ringing again come midweek or having to drive to stadium to establish the peace of mind I was asking for.
test and trace reasons? that is a bit bizarre as self isolation for any one double vaccinated ends tomorrow.I’m guessing the reason for only sending them out at late notice is to deter people printing out then selling them on - as I understand, this season it’s partly about tightening up for track and trace reasons. If the club were planning to ID season tickets they should make this known.I’m guessing the reason for only sending them out at late notice is to deter people printing out then selling them on - as I understand, this season it’s partly about tightening up for track and trace reasons. Was talking to a friend who’s a rag season ticket holder and he walked me through his ticket transfer process. Very simple via a “man united” app. Just need a few details of the person and you can send them a QR code via email. All monitored and recorded. No need for new supporters number or anything.Shock and surprise -we had a promise of tickets 7 days before the game and here we are 6 days out and no option to print at home yet.
I had access to a printer today Sunday only before saturdays game for my father who doesn’t have a smart phone.
So frustrating and empty promises yet again city.
it's only frustrating if you care. i'm at the stage where i no longer give a fuck whether i go or not.Same boat here. It’s going to be a very frustrating week for all of us one thinks.
Not to mention the shit storm come Saturday however I could be wrong!!(some how don’t think so)
I hope you’re right, it’s just with all this uncertainty, I’m waiting to see what happens at the first home match …If the club were planning to ID season tickets they should make this known.
In terms of posting to a mate, it is a PDF so you could email it to anyone, the club have had this system for several years if you can't make the game and want to send your ticket to a friend or whoever.
