Seat Counters - 2024/25

That block was on all those ticket tout sites I posted the other day.
Really interesting that isn't it. Also worth noting that SS3 was pretty much full apart from that 1 block which looked about 50-60% full.

Someone also suggested that they had given that block out to staff, but I don't buy into the fact that you need to reserve a whole block for this.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I think we're entering dangerous territory if the club sees an extra allocation as a chance to boost public relations with their so called "club partners", rather than a chance to sell extra tickets via the website to our own fanbase

I purchased mine in ES3 about 2 weeks ago.
For some games that didn't sell well they used to close off the top tiers, I'm guessing so they'd save money on Stewarding and not having to operate the Level 3 Bars.

I wonder if they plan to do this here and you, aswell as anyone else on level 3, could expect an email telling you you're being moved.

Just a suggestion, I hope this isn't the case, but I can't think of any reason they'd take these blocks off sale after sales have already started!

If they email me, I'll say that unless they move me next to Khaldoon, Moonchester, Natalie Pike or Pep...my fat arse ain't moving anywhere!

So something that's a little concerning to me is that block 313, which is normally the top tier of the away end, was part of the home end today. The reason this concerns me is because, apart from 4 returns yesterday, this block never went on sale via the website.

Are we now at a point where if the away team gives back part of their allocation, the club is going to distribute these via other routes?

Just worth keeping in mind if we get a semi final against Madrid, where no one can get tickets
It was posted in here that entire block was given to club staff or something. Seems a little odd because there were probably 1000 in there at least. With family I guess they could take that many but I’ve never heard of anything like before and I’m sure a lot of staff have tickets anyway (or are working). But they definitely never went on sale from day one so it’s a credible explanation.

A link has gone round at work offering 50% discount on Watford tickets.

Nice if the club ever sent a link to those on the cup schemes who support the club no matter what the game, the 5 quid cup scheme discount is pitiful, about time they capped the group game prices, cost me best part of 200 quid the other night with travel parking and tickets, to watch a game with no jeapody on it, to be surrounded by people on freebies/cheapies because the club have over charged in the 1st place and don’t want to look like they cannot sell out, as per like so many other times. The alienation of actual City supporters is relentless, to the point you think to yourself why am I doing this, the experience is shite when all you over around you is randoms with little interest in City up and down like fucking yo yo’s once they have found their seat, those making the decisions are killing the culture of our fanbase, targeting anyone but real City fans, The Etihad should be full of local kids and families watching this side, sadly the club are not interested in them

It was beyond weird when I saw that 1 ticket show up on the planner the other day as I’d never noticed that whole block going on sale. Wherever those tickets went, I do wonder if Inter only told City late on that they weren’t taking SS3 and as City still had tickets for sale in other areas of the ground that were shifting but not at a fast rate, that they decided no point in putting another 1000 or so on the planner?

Exactly what i saw happen last week and exactly what I think probably happened. They were stuck with 1000 they knew they didn't need to offered them free as a staff incentive.

A Seat Counter never sleeps.

As someone who was 'relocated' when they tarted up the Colin Bell level 2, trust me when I say this approach doesn't work, they said we could keep our seats at the same price we paid for 1 season, then we'd have to pay the increase if we wanted to stay after that. So in short, if they say you're moving, you're bloody moving.
