Seat Counters - 2024/25

first time in nearly 50 years of watching City i feel completely apathetic to actually attending, it is only habit and going with people that is keeping me in the groove, i feel a complete disconnect to the experience. I want to watch City at home with people who are passionate about City, who are there for the right reasons, i don't want to sit behind orientals cheering the opposition, recording the game through their phones while real City fans cannot afford to attend, Saturday at Villa Park there was a similar incident to the Liverpool one, albeit this time it was Croatian fans and just 3 of them but again in their national colours, they were not Blues.

All had gvardiol on the back of those shirts.

So to summise we are going to end the year unable to fill our ground because we have priced out our locals, and we are not having a light blue kit at the club World Cup, and away tickets go to Barcelona fans, bit of a shit show all in all.
What is this about the kit?

It's Sky Blue btw

Why is everyone so arsed? A few empty seats so what..
It’s not people being arsed about a few empty seats.

It’s supporters being arsed watching the people that run City managing to disconnect our local support to the point where our attendances are going down after 6 titles in 7 years.

They have managed to kill the atmosphere at home and away games with their tourist first policy and now seem intent having the stadium empty.

Maybe the penny will drop for them that empty seats in 52k capacity stadium means thousands of empties in a 61k capacity stadium.

Our away support is the best in the league. I have only missed Palace away and liverpool this year. Yeah a few go to tourists but you are very.wrong aboit the away atmosphere being killed. I take it you werent at Fulham last year?? One of the best away ends of my life.
City is a business. Matchday pricing is to steep. Season tickets are not

It’s just disappointing, after four titles on the spin and six in the last seven we should be selling every available ticket, including all returns. Now we’re going through a difficult patch for the first time in years, the club and fans should all be pulling in the same direction to get through it. However the club with their pricing policies simply aren’t allowing that.

The Club are greedy. That said, a big part of Everton tickets unsold are the season card hoarders who shoved their guaranteed refund tickets on the Ticket Exchange in their several thousands.

Agreed, but until they stopped selling season tickets in recent years, they were putting them on sale to anybody on a first come first serve basis, they couldn’t be arsed with creating a waiting list or using a points based system so they were selling them to anybody. No other club that I’m aware of were doing this. So people were buying them just to secure a seat for the big games, and people who genuinely wanted them to attend the majority of matches were missing out, now those people are baulking at paying £70 for a ticket, I don’t blame them.

It’s just another, in a long list of shit decisions that are completely fucking up our match going fanbase.
