Seko Fofana

Got a mate who is a Fulham fan who says he is awful and is a championship player at best.

Shame to hear that, thought he was supposed to be decent.

To be honest I wouldn't pay too much attention to some Fulham fans opinions on him, they are playing shit and its always easy to blame a young loan signing from a top club who isn't given a run in the side.

Whenever I've checked up on him he is usually a sub later in the game, when they are already losing so hard to make an impression when the games already getting away from the team. Maybe he plays more often when Im not watching.

Saying that , he seems to be in a similar phase as he was before, showing good potential but lacking that bit of sharpness and tactical understanding side of things. I think theres a good player in there but needs to be coached out.

Maybe another loan would suit him better than a struggling championship side. I feel Celtic might be a bit too easy for him as his size alone would allow him to dominate most teams and they won't drop Brown or Johanson to play him regularly. Someone like Lille might be a good shout, they play a 3 man midfield usually with none of them being standout players, so should get some decent game time in theory.

Here's his goal from the weekend.

Must of been some feeling for the lad, 1st professional goal, probably thought he'd messed it up when he hit the post, those Fulham fans going crazy as it clinched the 3 points for them (were they down to 10 men as well?)

Well done Seko!

He made it 2-0. I think were just glad for the youngsster... And for the fact they scored 2 away

My best mates brother is a regular going Fulham fan and he has been really impressed with Seko, often texts me to keep me updated on him. Says he is a long way off our first team but definitely have the potential. Should be getting more starts for Fulham but they keep putting in the older heads as they are in a relegation battle

Yeah that's fair enough if the club is in the shit.

He is a strange one to call, this lad, but some of the stuff he has produced for City, is just marvellous. The next minute, he looks like nothing.

That goal is actually two great finishes one after the other. He's unlucky the first one didn't go in.

A typical 'Yaya in his pomp' style goal, runs two thirds of the pitch with power and pace and slots it away - superb.Too early to call how this lads future will develop,he could be a monster........or he could be bang average IMO.
Another loan deal, next season,is definitely required.

And the fact Huddersfield missed two pens haha

Well done to the lad for scoring his first senior goal.

I think he just needs more gametime at Fulham. From what I've seen, he looks very hit and miss. He'll produce a quite brilliant touch or pass, then a few minutes later look a bit lost.

Fofana's one of those players whose career really could go either way.
