Really pleased there when Ferdinand started going on about Scholes, Lineaker put him in his place that Scholes found it very difficult when being asked to play on the left

Going by some of the posts I have read here, you would think Bellingham scored an own goal, gave away a penalty, scored another own goal and got a red card

Fucking ridiculous. Lol, the kid scored the only goal and he's just 20 and some just can't bring themselves to say something good. Crazy

Agreed.
Bellingham was outstanding for 30 odd mins and is clearly a great talent, whether his supposed attitude problems fuck the team up is nothing but speculation, for now

Sorry don’t get the Bellingham thing

He played well for 35 mins then got subbed off in 2nd half

Very good player but he’s not a team player. He was taking over every body’s position.
That's the problem, he wants to do everything, wants to be the Roy of the Rovers and the Waistcoat isn't big enough to stop him.
It's probably why he does well at Real. Players such as Kroos and Modric will have slapped him down and told him to come back when you have won something.
Even if they haven't Ancelotti would have put him in his place.
Be interesting to see how he reacts when Mbappe turns up.
As for the game Serbia were good defensively with Kane being marked out of the game which meant the team were always going to struggle up front.
England's back four were just that bit better which in the end made the difference.

from out wide, if no one will pass you the ball
But he wasn't out wide?

I would love to defend Phil tonight and say he was poor because he's getting chalk on his boots, but he was almost entirely central in/around Jude/TAA tonight when England was in possession of the ball.

He was only out wide when we were defending/out of possession.
