Has she requested to go to Bangladesh?

I suspect she just wants to come to the UK for all the benefits she can apply for. I know we are a country of mainly infidels but I love it.
I very much doubt it, as my understanding is that she is maintaining she isn't a BGD national. Although entitled to it, she has never claimed it through her parents. To claim it and suggest she go there would be to give an easy win to UK Gov.
I suspect that she will eventually be allowed to return at which point she will be prosecuted. Once she is handed a small sentence and released she will be handed anonymity as per Maxine Carr.

She's not keen on Bangladesh because she could face execution there , which is a bit ironic given she left Britain to join an organisation with the committed aim of promoting Islam and Sharia law throughout the world ..Not that I'm saying she deserves the death penalty , personally I wouldn't want her back , but let's be honest this government intends to keep kicking the SB can down the road till after the next election where it becomes Labours problem and then , if eventually the courts decide , we have to take her back , she can be used as a stick to beat Labour with for the next four years..

She stopped being our problem when she voluntarily left to join a murderous cult. Its a matter of perspective...we should have zero tolerance for terrorists and its apologists.
Ask yourself what we could do if whichever country she was in put her on a plane to the UK? If we were to put her back on a plane to anywhere else, every country in the world would be within their rights to refuse her entry and could just put her on a plane back here. At some point we would have to accept the responsibility of dealing with what is a UK citizen. How can we expect any other country to take responsibility for her without some bilateral agreement in place such as the flawed deal with Rwanda?

As for what should be done with her, she should be charged with whatever UK law she has broken, then tried and punished if found guilty. All this bravado about her not being our problem doesn’t answer the question as to whose problem she is. The only reason the issue hasn’t been forced is that Syria is a non-functioning state and the people in control of the refugee camp where she is located are not in a position to deport her.

My personal opinion of her is irrelevant but for what it’s worth, having seen some of that documentary I think she’s dodgy as fuck and a liar. But that view doesn’t mean that as a country we can just fob her off on to some other country to deal with that has no connection to her, and we all know the Bangladesh thing is just bollocks.

I never get this closing the threads and punishing other folk who want too post. If someone is hurling abuse at a poster remove them. It's a pretty simple thing to do instead of pissing everyone else off.
Agreed. The headline news story of the day but nobody is allowed to discuss it because two individuals have an argument. Then lock the thread for four hours and open it twenty minutes before City kick off. Petty.

Thing is mate if they applied this same logic to all the threads it would be just the Music & Best box set series threads left on the forum to post in. I was merely pointing out surely its easier to remove the offenders and let the debate continue.

My final say on yesterday's events. I explained earlier the reasons why I took the action I did, and why the individuals concerned weren't "removed". And, as I also said earlier, any poster perfectly entitled to put in a complaint re my handling of this issue to the @Ric. Which I would have no part in dealing with such a complaint. At the end of the day, the mods are doing their best to try to keep this place from becoming a bear pit. Yes; disagree with other posters by all means. But stupid bickering and exchanging childish insults doesn't further any debate. And the rules clearly state that any ongoing argument should be taken to pms, if the parties aren't prepared to put each other on ignore. I opted to lock the thread to give people a chance to calm down, and I'm not sure why the timing of it being reopened is an issue. It seems to have picked up where it left off yesterday, only without the ongoing spat. As I said, that's all I have to say on the issue.

That's fair enough Jim, I was just pointing out the Player threads are a 100 times worse than this, Matchday thread a 1000. I know they are different with posters emotions at a high.

Agreed, 100%. Personally, I'd get rid of the Match threads; they turn toxic very quickly. But that's never going to happen. It wouldn't be worth the inevitable hassle such a step would create. And, as I've said, we're encouraged to avoid banning posters; it's only to be used as the ultimate last resort, when a poster clearly won't be reasonable. We're not looking for the equivalent of Stepford Wives; those examples you mentioned should be sufficient evidence of that. The ideal scenario is that the forum is self policing, and that members are sensible in what they post. Is that wishful thinking? Quite possibly. But we don't want to end up like RAWK, where any criticism of the club, players etc is stamped down on firmly. Ric wants us to remain firmly in the background when possible. But this thread was getting derailed yesterday by two posters. What they were up to wasn't adding to the debate in any way. I felt something had to be done about it. Was I wrong? Some seem to think so. So be it.
