Should we be looking at new kit deal?- new update pg34 Chelsea NIKE DEAL

Not exactly like we are desperate now for these huge deals. Imagine in 2 years under Pep if things go according to plan our deal will be on a different scale. Patience with this one i imagine is probably worth it.

That would be my guess as well, we could have a bidding war in 2 years. Why tie ourselves in now.

What I don't get is this, a few years ago we negotiated a deal for Nike to be our kit supplier for 12 million a year. Since then we've completed the CFA, and are there not Nike swooshes all around on the fences etc.? And they've not paid anything more than the original deal? Something doesn't add up.

I must admit I expected much more sponsorship around the CFA, especially with the stadium part of it.

Looking at our new Nike Covenchelsea City kit for 2016-17 i think we should be looking at getting rid of Nike for good ASAP!

Good shout, surely that cannot be part of the £12m/yr kit deal, we must be receiving money for those swooshes in some other deal shouldn't we?

looks like we have to wait until 2019, when the current deal expires. Then we will see which company pays us the most (Puma, Adidas or Nike)

Hopefully we win the CL before 2019, which means we can ask more money.

This current £12m deal must be frustration for Soriano and co, IMO we should be getting double that (at least)

The only reason I can see for us not renegotiating the deal is that we want to change. Wouldn't be surprised to see us move to Adidas so we can cross promote and sell with New York. Half expecting us to try and buy ourselves out of the last year or two as Chelsea did.

but to be fair, Chelsea sell more shirts than we do at the moment. Their CL win in 2012 increased their fan base big time.
