Six Nations 2024

The point is that wouldn’t happen in football as we haven’t the visual evidence of TmO or the transparent decision making of miked up referees.
We have though as we hear it retrospectively, yet fans still aren’t happy with the process. Unless a decision is in your tesm’s favour, it’s corrupt, whatever it is.

There is a huge difference in hearing things live to hearing carefully chosen snippets weeks later. I am a Scotland rugby fan and believe the decision yesterday was harsh but entirely fair because the process was such I could see it with my iwn eyes and hear the rationale for the decision making with my own ears. Entirely different to what we have in PL.

I felt sorry for Scotland yesterday. On the balance of probabilities that was a try however to prove absolute certainty was impossible.
Can’t help thinking they could have gone through a couple more phases though.
Congratulations to England too who had enough muscle and know how to edge it.
Wales had one outstanding try but didn’t look like scoring second half.
Winnett, Dyer, Wainwright and Reffel were excellent. Kicking high balls to the best full back in the World though? And conceding a try when opponents were two down wtf ?

Ireland doing very easily what England completely failed to do and that’s make Italy look what they are, shit!

As a Scotland fan, I want them to be best in the world or at least competitive with the best. The last couple of games have shown how short they still are. Wales we squeaked home having lost control of the game and then the second half yesterday when they could have been far more aggressive imo France were there for the taking. Instead we played it cagey and tried to defend a six point lead. We are not near good enough to do that. The final decision was harsh but as Finn said himself, 'we cant leave it to a referee decision in the last second of a game to get us through'.

Hopefully we can play 80 minutes of great rugby in the next three games rather than good for a half and then dip.
If we can do that we will be competitive.
