Sjoke throw-ins next week - any ideas how to sort them?

Just leave Silva, Balotelli, Tévez (if he plays) or A Johnson right up the pitch...

And have Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Yaya Touré, Barry, Zabaleta and de Jong in the box.

i think wiki has miss printed wembley by 10m and the stoke fig is the actual playing surface area without markings

You are missing something here lads ... Wembley has a very wide pitch , Delap's throw-ins will be nowhere near as effective as they are at the Brittania where Pulis has had the pitch marked out to the narrowest dimensions permitted

wembley 105 x 65m
coms 116x77
stoke 115 x75
no way is wembley smaller than stokes pitch

I don't think it takes into the fact that Pulis has had his hands on that playing surface, mate!

I would put 3 or 4 City players on the halfway line so that they have to bring more people out the box. Any ideas?

My brother-in-law, who is the biggest football purist I know, believes you should have 5 or 6 players on the halfway line for throw-ins when you play Stoke.

I can see the merits with that argument especially with Joe (as oppose to Given) as a decisive keeper and a less congested box would greatly increase the odds of turning a throw-in into a counter attacking opportunity. I don't, however, think that the FA Cup final is the best stage to undertake previously untried tactical theories!!
