Sky TV Going Up To £107 a month for multiroom.****Update***** Page 6.

Another tip - see if you`re eligible via your employer for discounts offered by "Blue Light", "Defence Discounts Services" and the like. Membership of such websites can get you special discounted rates or offers. My current Virgin deal was discounted and included a free mobile 5mb per month contract.

I'm about to cancel Sky Q as i'm coming to the end of my current offer (18 month contract) which I timed to coincide with the end of the current season. I'll take a payment break of 6 months then return when I can agree a similar deal to what I pay now (£39pm).

I've never really been impressed with the quality of iptv services i've tried. The best quality streams are the official ones which i'm happy to pay a few quid for to obtain someone else's login details. For films & TV shows I pay £5-ish a month sub to a Plex server which has the lot and in up to 4K quality.

If i wanted Sky Sports i'd look for those Now TV offers where they charge £25 per month with 'Boost' which allows three simultaneous streams and is also 1080p + 50 frames per second. Then take turns with 2 others paying a "quarterly" bill
I was paying £35pm but they wanted £65 going forward. I said “bye then” and think I’m done with all the messing about every 18 months even if they came back with £35. I switched off all the contact preferences in my Sky account so they don’t pester me. I’ve got an Android TV with all the apps I need so will just go back to Now TV for individual games as and when. No more TV contracts for me.

Sooner the better the bollocks falls out of Sky horrible bastards. They've lost Champions League Football, 12:30 kick offs, Eddie has brought his Boxing elsewhere, Numberous movie stations ect Yet they still have the cheek to put prices up!
Wouldn't give that lot the steam off my piss.

Am under contract till Autumn then bye bye Sky.
Got a stick sorted. 70 quid first year then 40 afterwards.
Loads of Sport and Movies and no buffering

@SidJames you should just cancel Sky and wait for the offers. They will literally slash their prices to keep you. What I do is cancel, but they always say you have 30 days left on your contract. Then you just wait and after 20 days they will start giving you the offers. Turn them down and after 25 or so days you'll get the big discounts.

Personally, I don't like Sky but have to keep it for the wife. I've managed to get Sky, Sky HD, Sky Kids, Box Sets, Sky Go for 5 devices for £9 a month.

As for the football, you can always watch the games online if you look around. I've not missed a game this season.

I pay £57 per month for everything except movies but I just looked at my account and it's forecast to go up to £84 in May. I may call early to see what they can do. The ease of recording and watching on the go makes it non-negotiable to let it go completely.

Ours is up to £86pm now. I'm in contract on Sky Sports and Sky Signature until next year but the Ultra HD and movie packages are getting binned. I also binned off BT months ago.

Does anyone know how to remove packages? You used to be able to do it on the TV or app but it seems they've removed those options....
