Sky TV Going Up To £107 a month for multiroom.****Update***** Page 6.

Ours is up to £86pm now. I'm in contract on Sky Sports and Sky Signature until next year but the Ultra HD and movie packages are getting binned. I also binned off BT months ago.

Does anyone know how to remove packages? You used to be able to do it on the TV or app but it seems they've removed those options....
You can only upgrade online or via the app. Downgrade and cancellation has to be on the phone or via their "chat" system.

It should be illegal in my mind to be able to sign up for something online and not be able to use the same method to cancel.

I had full sports, BT sport and movies. It went up to £107 a month so cancelled everything except basic package and they let me do it without offering anything. I was ready to barter but didn't get the chance.

Not paid for sky or BT in years but I quit smoking in January and was considering signing up to skysports as a reward because it would be far more convenient for me than wading through shite streams every weekend.

Then I see the prices and realise I'd legitimately rather take up smoking again.

Fuck em.

I know it's a bit off topic but just curious, How much is a packet of cigarettes these days? Genuinely wouldn't know as I don't smoke.

That is actually not a bad deal.

No one will give up the Virgin high speed fiber optic in this House though.

To be fair Virgin really is second to nothing out there. 2 Tvs streaming Netflix, and Kids simultaneously online gaming.100 meg for £35 a month. I am not against paying for good value.

Sky are taking the Piss.
I think Gary offers an alternative view and mentions 'value for money'!

Now TV often do deals for sport around £20 per month. It depends what sports you watch I suppose if it’s value for you.

I sacked off Sky and BT a while back
They are an abomination.

Streams are everywhere these days for sport, TV and film.
If it wasn't so expensive then I'd actually pay for the services - but fuck 'em.
