no it isn't, this thread is about an agenda specifically aimed at keeping city at bay.
what uefa are doing is not just about manchester city.
two different things.

Whilst I would tend to agree, it's still a distinction not worth making though, given that only one club is being actively stymied from joining the top table. Us. The only other club to get properly clobbered has been PSG, a largely academic exercise given their lack of competition domestically and the inherent difficulty of their sustaining a long term threat on the European stage due to the unattractiveness of La Ligue to both the very best players and the global media alike.

ultimately if we are good enough we will beat them in anycase and the safety net of pot 1 will be reached
Just in time for UEFA to change the rules.

As a true believer (agenda-ista, conspiracista, and severely paranoid) I am already convinced that if and when City achieve Pot 1 status, the CL draw format will be changed!

correct.

if the rags dont make it again this year they will change the rules or throw some poor country out, not a club, a country.

DM at the moment has about 50 rag, Chelsea and dipper stories reading down from the top and then it goes into yesterday's stuff.
I agree it's all about clicks on stories but surely a write up about the Champions v Stoke game, team news etc would find it's way in somewhere?
By the way I'm a definite agenda believer but this shit goes way beyond. When was the last time the English top league champions were so completely ignored?

If the rags don't qualify again at the end of this season, you would not bet against uefa introducing some kind of wild card entry for the 16/17 season

good article though

i agree with the above but it isn't an agenda to just keep city out as many in here keep going on about, its to keep everyone out.

Whilst that may be true, the fact is that the only club currently threatening the old guard in terms of depriving them of money, trophies and acclaim, is City. Pretending that there isn't a specific agenda against City then is pure semantics. An agenda, or bias if you'd prefer, does exist, and we are its primary focus, and that is all that matters.
That will slowly change the longer we go on winning and the larger our fan base becomes, but I can tell you that down here that process is torturously slow, despite having finished 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 1st in the last 4 seasons. My kids have played in one of the largest youth football leagues in the country, and the number of City shirts on display amongst the hundreds of youngsters that turn up each week, is the same as it was 10 years ago when my eldest lad started. Precisely nil.

The whole thing is semantics and rests largely on how each poster defines the word "agenda". There isn't a single definition or interpretation.

If you substitute the word "bias" there is nigh-on 100% consensus.

But the usual suspects would rather claim they are right and everyone else is deluded.

So would we have been SNF Game of the day if we'd won ?
Would we fuck, you can almost hear the glee in their voices...
Usually they put the highest scoring game on so you'd expect to see the Newcastle /palace game....
Take out of it what you will,I just don't think we'd be on if we'd won 1-0...
Know worra mean..
