I wrote a while ago that I would bet my house on Aguero still being here next season, but I'm less sure now. His complicated domestic situation, coupled with Guardiola's ruthlessness, make it far from a certainty for me. I think if a big offer from abroad came in then I think we would consider selling him this summer.
Personally, I hope he stays but I'm sure when he does eventually leave it will all be very amicable given what he's achieved with the club.
Either way, going back to the OP, I don't think there's anything sinister behind the stories that were reported. They were very much prompted by Aguero's comments after the Swansea game. As a fanbase I think we need to get out of this paranoid mindset that everyone is against City.
