You may all scoff but, if we had Cavani as a temp striker who runs, scores goals, until Augero gets back to normal, he could have made a difference. Remember Pep wanted Sanchez to cover for Augero when he was injured,similar stature and style but we both lost out when he went to Utd....
I think there is more than meets the eye with the Augero, he was supposed to play at the Chumps league and he is still not right....will he ever be ?????

Cavani would have been a great short term fix,although i suspect he would now be public enemy no.1 if he'd made that comment while playing in our shirt.
 
Fuck it, the West Brom result has sunk in now and I’m back in positive mode.

To be fair to Cavani, all players have.... in jokes... but the FA dont see it see it that way, Bernado was the same....

Both players meant no offence. They all need to use WhatsApp. It's not rocket science.

My solution would be to select players who play with the intensity associated with Manchester City. No one wins games in this league unless they work hard and our midfield is too often at snail's pace. Passes move faster than players but you also need players to have the power and speed to create space for themselves.

Agree with all that. But in addition our finishing seems to be dire, though it’s just a perception, I don’t have any stats. I appreciate we are often having to shoot through a very crowded penalty box, but nevertheless, the number of times we seem to miss the target or have shots blocked seems a lot
 
I'm gonna state the obvious here....all teams apart from say Liverpool and Spurs park the bus against us and now they have got it down to a T when done properly....We STILL have no answer to this....they literally neutralise us and we just go round in circles ...simple but effective. Pep has come up with nothing as far as I can see..it will take something drastic to get around this...If WE score in the first 5 mins we are in with a chance, otherwise draw or loss...no matter who is playing for us......
