Good result overall. Poor attacking performance in the second half, but defensively we limited a good team to few clear chances, and ultimately made one point up on Chelsea.
He definitely didn't watch the game. Southampton gave us a bit of a chasing today. They had the lion' share of possession, controlled the midfield and had more efforts on goal than we did. We stole a point today, which isn't bad. But the performance was very insipid. Once we got the early goal, we should have been all over them, hassling and chasing them and forcing them into errors. Instead, it was actually the polar opposite; they were all over us.Cheesy said:Proelia said:You could understand the criticism if we lost , southampton created fuck all either and only scored through a wonder goaljimharri said:Three questions for you.
1. Are you one of the happy clappers?
2. Did you see the game?
3. Do you expect us to be doing cartwheels after a performance like that?
You didn't actually watch the game did you?
Soton had 15 shots, 4 of which were on target.
Face it, they should have son that game really.
Even if Yaya was injured it should have been Rodwell on, as Pellegrini had just evened it up in midfield where we were being utterly outplayed and then he changed it right back.pogrom92 said:Can someone explain Dzeko for Yaya sub? Was Yaya injured?
Lancet Fluke said:Not a good performance at all but a positive to see us grinding out some kind of result away against a good team when we are having an off day. Also if we beat arsenal next week then I reckon this will look a decent point.
