Southampton Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Sorry, people. Correction to my previous post. Re Chelsea, I meant the Stoke game of course. Can't think what came over me.

It's a good point away at Southampton, the only disappointment was that we didn't take advantage of their injuries. The fact that the rest of our away form has been rubbish, putting us under more pressure to win these tough games doesn't take away from the fact that it's a good points - I was impressed with the way they kept the ball and bypassed our midfield (highlighting the frailties of 4-4-2 away from home), and they are a smart outfit.

If Arsenal drop points today we are in a great position going into next weekend, if they take the 3 points then its added pressure, but a win will guarantee that its ground made up. If we can continue to take 4 points from every 2 away games here on in then we are laughing.

Disagree it's not a good point at all, they have just come off three defeats, and we are supposed to be title contenders, yet we only had the first 15 to 20 minutes of the game, you can make excuses all you want but the top and bottom of it is we failed to do our job, we have 10 points less than at the same time when we won the league, we also are supposed to have a better squad of players but right now you wouldn't know it.

Lets be honest we were crap yesterday . Still a point was more than what we got in February at the same venue . These were the sort of games that won us the title by winning .

Agree but you still got to go on strong run to keep pressure on us. That starts by beating us next week and then going on winning run from then on aginst fulhsm, liverpool and palace.
