Can't have been a woeful performance if we really had 6 gilt edged chances. You have forgotten what woeful is

Don't remember these chances?

Aguero at the end
Toure header
...

Mario header
Kolarov shot
Silva from Balo flick
Barry shot first half

Prob maybe more but those spring to mind....

Wouldn't call Silva or Kolarov guilt edged (although the latter close), but fair enough.

That was total shit! How can professional footballers pass a ball so poorly? There's no point in naming individuals (they were all shit with the exception of mario when he came on) . The blame rest's fairly on the shoulders of one man . Step forward Bobby ( european football still seems to be a puzzle to you). These brainwaves he takes such as playing Clichy on the wrong side so to speak never seem to come off and as ever his substitutions come far to late. Very disappointing night all round.
Tool ^^^

I was thinking along the same lines Gaz.

Hardly all gilt-edged chances though lol

That was poor all round. Clichy had a dreadful evening, losing the ball so many times, Silva got pushed around and chopped down constantly, Dzeko is the reason why City are trying to get Tevez back asap, Super Mario looked class when he came on, Lescott held that defence together in the 2nd half, De Jong was like the invisible man - if there's nothing to break up then he's a bit pointless. Surprised Bob didn't change it at half time.
Still, I think we'll hammer them at home next week and we have to remember where we were a little over 10 years ago, we''d have killed for nights like this in 1999.

Spot on. 1-0 in the away leg is no disaster and we did do enough to get one, I'm confident we'll beat them comfortably next week.

The sooner we employ Harry Redknapp the better, he'll get Edin playing well, look what hes done with Ade.

Mancini escapes way too much Criticism. Everyone slagging Dzeko, Nasri etc....then why did Mancini buy them?

And what a horrible idea to play Clichy RB. He might once have been a right-foot dominant but that has clearly faded. He basically avoided using his right-foot on the right flank. Something you simply cannot do.

I really think Mancini is a bad coach in europe. And he has alot to learn.

Abysmal performance from everyone. Baffled at team selection: can't be doin' with all the chopping and changing.

They were not much better so we'll knock them over with no problem back at the Etihad.

Oh so you think we played well then?

the most vital thing will be not to concede a goal, otherwise it will be too hard to score 3 or even more
poor display from attacking players tonight
