I've been on cheggars plays pop too, although only once. Out of all the decent bands around in the early eighties, we got.....the fucking wurzels.
I ended up doing the inflatable game at the end.

Backwards roll after we beat Birmingham game before Blackburn.
Everyone ran on the pitch .
I thought fuck it I'm going on the pitch.
Some reason I did a backwards roll.
Me old man was in the shop during the pre season after.
That game was on the big screen.
Some woman said look at that hooligan.
Excuse me misses that's my boy.
I'd send a clip but haven't a clue how to do that.
Some days they were in the North stand.
Lad next to me called me neil for 5 years.
Not my name by the way.
And once asked if I was in smack I was that stoned
