If we got £5m for him in transfer, £10m in total would not be bad with him only having one year left.

Yea, but we'd need to replace him and we'd be talking a higher fee and similar wages . I know we've got 'dinho but Garcia is shite and Rodwell could wake up one morning and be out for the season :(

I'd keep him for a year and then buy the next Yaya next summer - someone like that Seville player whose name I always forget "kogobia" or something.

Fair enough but we would need to find someone to do his role and that may require bringing in someone who may cost more and may not do as well.

The Hargraves ( despite no transfer fee ) and Sinclair experiments are now a thing of the past I would hope.

He wants to stay and fight for his place and if he continues to do a job we would give him another years extension which at the end none of us would have any qualms if was released ala Kolo on a free to a club of his choice.

Barry to Spurs?

Not seen it on here, so apologies if there is another thread.

Just heard on Talkshite (Durham and Gough) that a rumour doing the rounds is Barry to Spurs. Now, I'm not that bothered to be honest, but they were taking the piss about his chances of going there. Gough actually said he'd believe Palace or Hull, but not Spurs.

Are they doing Barry a disservice, or is that his level now?
