I don't think it matters whether Webb saw it or not, the cameras did and that's enough for the FA to stamp down (no pun intended) on incidents like that.

Unlike with Suarez, who did nothing wrong but still got banned.

The FA are corrupt though, Fergie pays them off.

IIRC Shearer told the FA that if they were going to charge him, he'd pull out of the England World Cup '98 squad and they bottled it as a result. Fucking disgraceful behaviour from both parties.

Can anybody explain to me, other than corruption, blatant xenophobia or a distinct whiff of club/player prejudice, why Peter Crouch has not been charged with violent conduct, especially when taking into account Balotelli's retrospective charge? This is an honest and serious question.

People's opinions and views have been polarised with regards to the 'agenda' thread and I can appreciate why this is so. I personally feel agenda is too strong a word; I'd probably go with an ingrained/ institutionalized subconscious bias. However, here we have (coughs) an England international that has been filmed trying to gouge an opponent's eye on the field of play. How the fuck can the FA not charge him?

It's simply not good enough to just say 'you win some, you lose some' and move on like some of the apologist posters on here. The FA (including Bernstein)are no better than UEFA (Platini) and FIFA (Blatter) - rotten to the fucking core and have absolutely no consideration where true supporters are concerned.
