The current deal in place at Anfield for example means that Carlsberg pay LFC £1.5m p.a. just to have their beer in the ground.
I understand that Carlsberg and LFC have some 'istree, but the figure you quote seems to be well in excess of the market price imo.
Dont struggle but believe me or not the figure came directly from John W Henry in conversation about introducing a new beer to the ground.
I do know that the Carlsberg/LFC deal gets signed off in Copenhagen, which is unusual, and it may be that the historic ties between them and LFC have an inflationary effect for some reason.
