Just been to see it.
What the fuck is all the hype about?
Just same old same old.

That's exactly what the hype is. The originals are seen as classics and the prequels took a big liquid shit on them so fans are happy that they've recaptured the old atmosphere. Not a fanboy myself but I thought it was a pretty solid film.

I didn't get the first one back in the 70s. I don't get the latest. They achieved the brief given to the director "to make a film for 9 year olds", but for adults...yawnsville.

Felt like a kid again..managed to avoid all the spoilers on the Internet..never saw any of it coming

I love British humour.

I never thought there'd be a Death Star 3 after having two in the last three films but there it was. So unoriginal that it was unexpected and therefore actually a surprise to see another Death Star. It had all the aspects of the original trilogy the lightsabers, the stormtroopers, the TIE fighters, the X wings and of course the Death Star again!

The universe felt just like the original trilogy and that's great in my eyes. Can't wait for the Ewoks in the next film :)

Just thought I'd chime in.

Have seen it twice now. The second viewing was the better of the two. Helped me take in so much more.

It's exactly what it's supposed to be. A return to form, a setup to the new trilogy and a passing of the baton to the new heroes. (Who were awesome)

Funny. Exciting. Heartfelt. Intriguing.

Everything Star Wars should be.

And BB-8 is just awesome.
