Starting 11 next season

hello friends.

this i believe will be the default formation and line up:

--------------------------------------Hart
-----------------------------------Pantilimon

-----Zabaleta---------Kompany------------Nastasić---------Clichy
-----Richards-----------lescott---------------Garcia---------Kolarov

----------------------Yaya Toure------------Fernandinho
-------------------------Rodwell----------------Barry

---------Navas----------------------Aguero----------------------Silva
---------Milner----------------------Jovetic----------------------Nasri

-------------------------------------Dzeko
-------------------------------------Negredo

This is by far the best and most on-point suggestion here. I completely agree. Up top, we will almost always have either Negredo or Dzeko (but not both and not neither of them). Jovetic will be interchanging with Aguero or Nasri, depending on the opponent (so, we may see Jovetic and Aguero in the same lineup).

Agüero is a better lone striker than Džeko and his best assets would be wasted further back in attacking mid. He's not a creator. I would think Džeko will be sold either this or next year and Agüero will play in his position up front with Negredo as sub or sometimes partnering him.

aguero is actually wasted s a lone striker. he's very talented and technically gifted so he should play deeper.

the system is quite flexible actually, it is very possible to have dzeko and negredo playing together in a 4-2-2-2.

jovetic can also play with aguero, next to each other or behind each other.

i can even see all 4 strikers playing together in a 4-2-4 formation, it is not impossible.

the formation and line up will always be altered to suit the opposition.

but the default should look like this:

------------------------------------Hart
-----------------------------------Pantilimon

-----Zabaleta---------Kompany------------Nastasić---------Clichy
-----Richards-----------lescott---------------Garcia---------Kolarov

----------------------Yaya Toure------------Fernandinho
-------------------------Rodwell----------------Barry

---------Navas----------------------Aguero----------------------Silva
---------Milner----------------------Jovetic----------------------Nasri

-------------------------------------Dzeko
-------------------------------------Negredo

No Aguero?
lol.

You need to have your head checked if you don't think Aguero is going to be the main striker.

our main strikers will be dzeko and negredo. jovetic and aguero are second strikers.

An in-form and injury-free Aguero is a 30 goal a season striker. Pellegrini may be the man to help bring back the Aguero of the 2011/12 season. He can play as a 2nd striker but he isn't as natural in the role. I'd much rather see Jovetic or Silva play behind Aguero.

Goalkeepers:
Joe Hart
Costel Pantilimon
Richard Wright

Defenders:
Micah Richards
Pablo Zabaleta
Vincent Kompany
Pepe
Joleon Lescott
Matija Nastasic
Gael Clichy
Aleksandar Kolarov

Midfielders:
Jesus Navas
James Milner
Yaya Toure
Javi Garcia
Fernandinho
Gareth Barry
Jack Rodwell
David Silva
Samir Nasri
Scott Sinclair

Forwards:
Sergio Aguero
Stefan Jovetic
Alvaro Negredo
Edin Dzeko

there's no reason why he cannot get 30 goals playing as a center forward.

i tell you what aguero's natural role is, it is that false winger role, so he can be used like that as well.
