Stupid little things that bug you

It's for lazy twats and tastes awful. Only takes 10min to cook proper rice.
In defence of the microwavable rice packets - they're good for work lunches. If you take some leftover chilli or whatever to work for lunch you can't exactly make fresh rice in an office microwave.

The Aldi flavoured microwave rice packets are pretty good.

There was a case, a year or two back, where a chip shop owner was fined for selling some othwhite fish as cod.
Following a complaint by a member of the public (no idea how or why that came about), a Trading Standards Officer specifically ordered "Cod & Chips" and not simply "Fish & Chips". He had the fish analysed and subsequently took the proprietor to court.
Caught them hook, line and sinker after reeling them in through a thorough investigation.

I can't believe the chippy took the bait.

The use of the phrase "You Got This".
For a start it should be "You've got this", and it is a pretty meaningless phrase.
Advertisers and organisers of sporting events are really overusing this little nugget.
Whenever I see it, I think it's a campaign for STD awareness. "Chlamydia. You got this!"
