Really gets on my nerves too, but it is what it is, at the end of the day.

Also people who finish words with" a "YAR" or a "CHAR" sound. Procedure becomes "Proced-yar, adventure becomes "Advent-char, lecture becomes "Lec-char and so on..

If you’re referring to whom I think you are, he was this election's Portillo; the one I was most delighted to see the back of.

Yet, Michael Portillo has really grown on me, so to speak, since then, from his railway journeys, to his walks throughout Britain and Europe, even his stints on political programmes, I can listen to his views and dare I say, agree with many. However, not so sure I could say that of the former.
